Probably nothing specific. An 82 could mean every page is a respectable 80-ish. It could also mean your homepage is a 98 and your pricing page — the one that actually matters for revenue — is a 40, dragged up by averaging against pages nobody's looking for.
Problems cluster on specific pages, not across the whole site
Real websites are inconsistent by nature. Different pages get built at different times, by different people, sometimes on different templates entirely. A landing page thrown together for a campaign last quarter might have none of the structured data your main product pages carry. A page migrated during a redesign might have picked up a crawl-blocking rule the rest of the site never had. An older blog post might still have thin content and a missing canonical tag that got fixed everywhere else two years ago.
None of that shows up clearly in a single number. It shows up when you look at the pages individually and notice that the problems aren't evenly spread — they're concentrated in a handful of places that happen to matter a lot.
What page-level evidence actually enables
Beyond just being more accurate, page-level findings are actionable in a way an aggregate score isn't. "Your site scores 82" doesn't tell anyone what to do on Monday morning. "Your pricing page is missing Organization schema and its canonical tag points to the wrong URL" does — it names the page, the problem, and implicitly the fix.
It also makes the next step possible at all. Once you know a specific page has a specific problem, you can check, later, whether that specific page still has that specific problem — which is the whole basis of actually verifying a fix rather than just hoping it happened. A domain-wide score can't be verified in any meaningful sense — it can only be recalculated, and a recalculated average can hide exactly as much the second time around.
