Verification

A checkbox is not proof.

Growthract keeps implementation and verification as two distinct steps. Marking work implemented records what you did. Verification is separate, and it only happens against a later comparable scan.

Verification
01

Recommended

A change is prioritized.

02

Implemented

The work is marked complete.

03

Comparable scan

The relevant condition is checked again.

04

Verified

Acceptance conditions are satisfied.

The short version

Verified means we ran the same test twice
and got the same answer.

Four honest outcomes

Verification reports what the evidence actually shows.

Growthract does not collapse every result into pass or fail. Each acceptance check is evaluated against comparable evidence, and the overall result reflects exactly what could and could not be confirmed.

Verified

All evaluable acceptance checks pass in the current comparable scan.

Partially verified

Some evaluable acceptance checks pass and others do not yet pass.

Not yet verified

The evaluable acceptance checks do not yet pass in the current comparable scan.

Cannot verify

There is not enough comparable deterministic evidence to verify this implementation.

Comparable evidence

Verification needs a scan it can actually compare against.

An acceptance check can only be evaluated when the previous and current scans cover the same website and focus mode. When a report is not comparable, or the underlying evidence is unavailable, the result is cannot verify rather than a guess.

1

Recommended

A finding produces a prioritized recommendation with a defined acceptance check attached.

2

Implemented

You make the change and mark the action implemented. This step is self-reported, not automatically detected.

3

Verified on next scan

Verification runs against your next comparable scan — it is not real-time and does not run on a schedule you don't control.

Truth boundary

Verified is not the same as won.

Evidence boundary

A verified acceptance check confirms that a defined condition changed between two comparable scans — for example, that a technical finding is absent or that public-web evidence changed. It does not confirm a ranking improvement, an AI citation, or a business outcome. Implementation is not verification, and verification is not a business result.
