Direct answer
How many well-known B2B SaaS homepages have no structured data at all?
In Growthract's 2026 AI Search Readiness Benchmark, 21 of 97 inspectable B2B SaaS homepages (21.6%) had no JSON-LD structured data of any kind — including recognizable products like Slack, Notion, Linear, Airtable, Snowflake and Datadog. We spot-checked four of these live and the finding held.
01
Having no structured data at all isn't rare or a sign of a small, under-resourced team — well-known, well-funded products are on this list.
02
This measures presence of any JSON-LD, not quality — a homepage could add trivial schema and still lack meaningful entity clarity.
03
Absence of schema doesn't mean a homepage is invisible to AI systems; it means one clarity signal is missing.
Missing structured data isn't a small-company problem. Some of the most recognizable names in B2B SaaS have none at all on their homepage.
21 / 97
inspectable homepages had zero JSON-LD structured data
That's 21.6% of the inspectable sample in our 2026 AI Search Readiness Benchmark — no Organization schema, no WebSite schema, no Article schema, nothing in application/ld+json form at all on the homepage.

We spot-checked Slack, Notion, Linear and Airtable live before publishing this post — all four still had no JSON-LD on their homepage at the time of writing.
What this does and doesn't mean
This measures presence, not quality or intent. It's entirely possible for a company to decide structured data isn't a priority for its homepage specifically, or to have schema on other pages (docs, pricing, blog) that weren't part of this homepage-only check.
It also doesn't mean these companies are invisible in Google or AI search generally — brand strength, backlinks, content quality and dozens of other factors matter too. What it does show is that "we'll add schema eventually" is a surprisingly common state even among products with significant engineering resources.

Where this fits in the full benchmark
Across the same sample, 78.4% of homepages had some JSON-LD present, 72.2% had Organization schema specifically, and only 21.6% had SoftwareApplication schema. The full breakdown, methodology and downloadable dataset are in 2026 AI Search Readiness Benchmark: 100 B2B SaaS Websites.

FAQs
Does this mean these companies have bad SEO?
Not necessarily. Structured data is one signal among many. These companies may be strong on other dimensions — content, backlinks, brand — that this specific check doesn't measure.
Could these companies have added schema since this was collected?
Yes — this is a point-in-time observation. We re-checked four of the 21 live before publishing and the finding held, but any of them could add structured data at any time.
Is this list checking every page or just the homepage?
Just the homepage. A company could still have structured data on other pages not covered by this specific check.
